Techonomy NYC (May 16-17, 2017) is a unique big-picture exploration of how technology transforms business and society. It's not about tech per se, but rather about how tech is changing everything else. That's what all leaders and managers need to understand. The first of its two days, Tuesday May 16, is Techonomy Health, on the tantalizing potential tech holds to remake this $3 trillion sector of our economy.

Then Wednesday May 17 we curate an intense New York-style version of our longstanding Techonomy in California, where last fall Mark Zuckerberg famously spoke about fake news. New York speakers will include GE Vice Chairman Beth Comstock, Diana Farrell of JPMorgan Chase Institute, entrepreneur Bre Pettis, and AirMap Co-founder Gregory McNeal, among many others. Panels, short talks, and longer presentations will range from Blockchain to drones to how management is remade by tech, as well as the challenges for policy.

Techonomy Health gathersinnovators, professionals and executives, doctors, policymakers and entrepreneurs to explore healthcare's increasingly digital future.  Speakers will include Esther Dyson of EDventure Holdings, Ron Gutman of HealthTap, Seth Sternberg of Honor, Robert Klitzman, of Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health, and Andrew Thompson of Proteus Digital Health. Themes will include how tech can completely re-order the American health ecosystem, Proteus' swallowable digital pill, the importance of genetic data for connected healthcare, and much more.

On both days we'll touch big-picture themes like artificial intelligence, privacy, security and the Internet of Things. Many more speakers will be announced soon. Like all our events, Techonomy NYC is founded on these central questions: How can we collectively drive towards a more productive, fairer, wealthier society? And how does everything change in a networked, measured and analyzed world? In turbulent times these questions are more urgent than ever.
